A Legacy of Service and Advocacy
John’s path into law began early—he grew up watching his father advocate for injury victims across the Central Valley. After graduating from Buchanan High School, John served a two-year church mission throughout Maine, Vermont, and New Hampshire, an experience that deepened his sense of purpose and service.
Academic Excellence and Legal Foundation
John earned his bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Utah before attending the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law. There, he received honors in trial advocacy and earned a certificate in trial and appellate advocacy. His legal training included clerking on civil rights cases under federal judges in California’s Eastern District—an experience that shaped the strategic and compassionate approach he brings to every case.
Bringing High-Touch Representation Back Home
After passing the California Bar, John returned to the Valley to represent injury victims at a local firm. It wasn’t long before he recognized a need for more direct, client-focused representation. That led him to establish The Injury Law Firm in his hometown of Fresno—a practice grounded in high standards, honest communication, and personal attention.
John believes clients shouldn’t be passed off to case managers. That’s why every client at his firm works directly with him—from initial consultation to resolution.
Outside the Fresno Office
Away from work, John enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. He finds peace in the outdoors—camping in the Sierra Nevadas, fishing in the Central Valley’s lakes, and cheering on sports teams, whether from Bulldog Stadium or the comfort of home.
